Ben Orenstein once referenced the meta-strategy of his company, Tuple. He didn't define meta-strategy, so I'll try: your meta-strategy the reason your company will succeed, apart from anything specific about your product or your metrics. Imagine if you deleted your entire codebase and all deployments of your software; your meta-strategy would be the reason you could built it all back, or build another, equally successful product.
Ben said his meta-strategy is: Hire the best people, who will build the best products, which will pay for hiring more of the best people.
Lumpcorp's meta-strategy is: Write on this website, which generates awareness and sales of our products, which funds more writing on this blog.
I don't say it's a good meta-strategy, just that's it is the meta-strategy we've got.
